I am exhausted! This is what a single parent must feel like.
I was able to video chat with Anthony last night which was the first time I heard from him in 2 days. He shaved off all his hair and has already found a buddy to hit the gym with. Hopefully we’ll be able to talk more often when he gets settled in.
On Saturday, the family and I went to the outlets at Castle Rock and later hit up a sporting goods store called Sniagrab (bargains) in Denver. Been looking for a good winter jacket and was able to get the Northface one I wanted for much cheaper. They were even selling kids snowboards (bindings, boot and all) for $100. I was so tempted to get a set for Jo, but I figured I should make sure she likes it first.
Went to church today. Went to the cemetery and then out to eat. Spent most of the evening cleaning out the freezer and refrigerator. What a task! You don’t even want to know what we found.
