Last week I took a sewing workshop. It ended up being really basic and I didn’t get much out of it other than the urge to start a new project. I made this skirt a few days ago. It has a pencil type silhouette and a ruffle detail around part of the hem excluding the front middle panel. Came out pretty good and I think I might actually wear this soon. Let’s hope it doesn’t fall apart.
On Tuesday I attended my first digital photography class. Anthony bought me a Sony alpha 100 DSLR camera last Christmas and after almost a year of keeping it on auto mode I figured it was time learn how to use it properly. One of our homework assignments was to practice adjusting aperture which alters the depth-of-field.
I still have a lot to learn and still feel like I’m fighting with my camera most of the time (never winning), but I’m really excited about being able to take some sick pictures in the future.
I love those pictures! And the skirt is too cute, it has a 40s feel to it!
nice shots! all my practice is on alexa these days. LOL
love the skirt! very talented!
