It was my mission to make the girls costumes this year. It definatly cost much more to do it myself than getting one at Walmart, but I think they’ll appreciate the hard work I put in when they’re older.
JoJo’s costume. She was a mermaid. I can’t take all the credit for this one. I did have a pattern to work from but it did have a ton of pieces. It was nice because Jo got to pick out the colors and really made it her own.
Analise’s costume. She’s sushi! LOL man I crack myself up. Now this was a labor of love. Made all from scratch. I think I actually do better work when I don’t have to follow directions, just the ones in my head. She slides into the shrimp part and the rice ties around her waist and is removable. Final touch, wassabi hat. 
I have a ton more pictures including a better one of Ana in her get up, but my computer’s being difficult tonight so I’ll post more tomorrow.
