My Auntie Sharon got married this past Saturday. She asked me to do her hair as well as act as the photographer for the event.
A little side story about the makeup “artist.”
I was in the process of doing my Aunt’s hair when the makeup lady walked into the hotel room. She had a total of one small cosmetic bag with her. The contents of that bag?.. her PERSONAL makeup! Nothing new and nothing to sterilize the one brush she had. It was a good thing I brought my entire makeup collection. She used all my stuff. I even had to put mascara on for her b/c she wasn’t comfortable doing it. To top it all off, she charged $75. Good thing it was Sharon’s mother-in-law that hired her and paid. Que serra serra.
The first set of pictures were taken with my dads new Nikon D90 slr camera. It had a flash accessory which is the main reason I was using it. I think that the light is a little harsh and shouldn’t have been mounted right on the camera but I had to work with what I had. Maybe I can do a little photoshop work on them.
These pictures were taken with my Sony. I decided to return the flash I got for this camera so I was only able to use it when there was adequate light to make a good exposure. I just realized I didn’t rotate the first two, but I’m too tired to fix it right now. You get the point.
I need more practice.
I’m now saving up to take some photoshop classes and to purchase a flash for my camera. Christmas is coming up. Maybe Santa will hook it up. I have been a good girl 🙂
Extend our best wishes to the newlyweds. Pics look pretty good.

for someone who needs more practice, you did a great job!
