On Jocelyn’s actual birthday, Ana and I had lunch with her at school. We ate the traditional celebratory pancit that I made at home right after I dropped her off at school that morning. She was really surprised.
After school we let her open some presents from the family, her godmother and Lola.
We had an official party a couple days after her birthday and this is the first year she invited school friends. Hello Kitty themed party…pretty obvious by looking at the pictures.
Homemade cake pops. I’ve tried making these suckers 3 times in the past and failed! Finally got them to work.
My cake on the other hand did failed miserably. We bought a Hello Kitty cake pan but as I wend to unmold it, the entire face stuck! I had to improvise and salvaged a round piece, iced it and called it done. Just needed something to put the candle on anyways.
