Some people have asked what I eat. Well now a days it’s everything in sight. You can consider me the ultimate pregnancy cliche since I even bought a jar of pickles.
Here are some of my meals (and by default, the family’s meals too) this past week:
Breakfast of tocino, avocados, Korean sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and fried eggs (fully cooked)
Beef Nilaga (beef soup) made with beef shank complete with bone marrow. Yum!
GF Cheese cake (we couldn’t wait the recommended 3 hours for it to cool so it’s a little soft in this picture, but oh so good)
(everything homemade by yours truly)
I’m not looking forward to the work I’ll have to put in post-baby to get back to my prepregnancy size….and after seeing all the stuff I eat, you know why I’m a little concerned. Ha. Now that the morning sickness has gone away and I have more energy, I decided I step up my workout game . I have been going to yoga classes in town, but my work schedule makes it difficult to go regularly. I started waking up a bit earlier and doing quick 30 min yoga DVD workout every morning. It’s been great so far and it has even given me a boost of energy to get through the day. Hoping I can keep it up.
Today, halfway through yoga class, I mentioned to the instructor that I was expecting and she was actually surprised. Whenever I look in the mirror, I think I’m sporting a pretty substantial belly, but apparently some people just assume I’ve had one too many burgers for lunch.
