The kids had a couple snow days this week. Lucky for us, the government decided to shut down as well and we were able to spend some time at home as a family.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Kept it pretty low key. Exchanged gifts and had a steak dinner at home to avoid the crowds.
On President’s Day the girls had to go to school to make up for all the snow days they’ve had this year. Since Ty and I were off we got some alone time to shop for baby. We did some major damage. Here’s all the stuff we’ve bought so far.
Not pictured is the crib we ordered, new car seat for Ana, and a stand alone freezer chest for the garage (needed for all the breast milk I plan to store…TMI sorry).
Ty and I were also able to attend Ana’s Valentine’s Day party at school.
Anthony had some flowers delivered to my office on Friday. Unfortunately they arrived after I had already left for the day, so they sat there over the long weekend. Although there were a few wilted flowers, I still enjoyed having them waiting for me on my desk Tuesday morning.
I can’t seem to get comfortable at night, so I ordered a pregnancy body pillow. I got it in yesterday and let me tell you, it’s worth every penny. I was just going to try it out and immediately knocked out. I slept like a baby.
