This new job is kicking my butt, but the bright side is it’s making time fly and 2 weeks have already passed since my last update.
Here’s what’s been going on:
Look of the day
Jocelyn had another TaeKwonDo test
Date night with my little princess
Ana wanted a picture in her outfit too
Brunch with some old friends from our Dover days
Belly updates:
My weight gain held steady at 11 lbs for a while until I went to TX for training. It fluctuated back and forth for a couple weeks after I got back, but has held steady at +18 pounds. I guess that’s not too bad for being at the end of my second trimester. I am ADDICTED to GF waffles and can eat them every morning. Also love bananas with Justin’s Hazelnut Butter, plums, and Pirates Booty Cheese Puffs. I still do yoga every morning 6 days a week. Feeling tons of movement and can even see waves from the surface of my tummy.
I had another ultrasound today…that makes a total of 4! This time I was sent to another military hospital for a level 2 US to recheck the placenta placement and the baby’s kidney. Kidney is looking good and within normal limits, so no concern there and the placenta is actually fairly far away from the cervix and not considered low-lying. Apparently the sonographers that did the scan in the past viewed my placenta from a different angle making it appear like it was lower than it really is. Bottom line, everything checked out a-ok. I will miss seeing my little one every couple weeks, but I guess I can hold out a few more months till he/she’s here in person.
Baby is head down, measuring 2 lbs 11oz, and heart rate of 136 BPM.
