Since AnthonyPaul’s been back home, we have tired to get back to normal…or at least the adjusted normal with 3 kids instead of 2. Ty’s back at work and the girls are on summer vacation. Jo and Ana have been a great help with the baby. However, the lack of fun activities have left them bored and bickering with one another. Classic sibling love-hate relationship. Anyways, our baby boy is doing just fine. Since his discharge from the hospital, he’s gone to a couple appointments with his pediatrician and the pediatric hematologist. Just had a regular check up and a blood test to ensure the medication dosage for the anticoagulant is still at a good level. All in all everything looks good. This coming week he will have an appointment with the peds neurologist, nephrology (for his high blood pressure), and a follow up head ultrasound (checking the fluid levels in his ventricles). In between appointments we’ve been hanging low at home.
Ty insisted I try to get some rest. When I woke up around midnight, this is what I found…
Baby sleeping in his crib, the girls on baby duty (put his paci in his mouth if it falls out), and daddy asleep in his “nest” of pillows…not sure what Ty’s role was in this arrangement. haha
Finally getting out of the house
Asleep in his stroller as the girls play
I forgot to post these pictures of Ty’s Father’s Day gifts from the kids. The NICU staff made these cute ties for all the dads
Here’s the card Jo made for her daddy
And here are the drawing the girls made for their baby brother when he was in the hospital
