October (part of it anyways)
And we’re almost caught up. So proud of myself!
Here’s the final round of Tydingco adventures and pictures to prove they happened.
October 2 – Picnic with the family at Dillon Lake
October 3 – Lauren playing peek-a-boo
October 7 – This is how I found the babies before I left for work…Lauren awake and talking to herself and AJ in the rocking chair with Lauren’s pacifier in his mouth reading a book. Haha
October 8-13 – Family trip to Las Vegas! Since the kids had 2 weeks of Fall Break, we decided to take a much needed family vacation. I was stressful and there were lots of tears…not only from the babies, but we made some great memories.
Pool at our hotel, Wyndham Grand Desert. We opted for a condo with 3 rooms and a kitchen instead of a regular hotel suite. Glad we did that.

My family had a special GF cake waiting for me at the house when we got back to CO. Another year around the sun. So extremely blessed.
Well that’s it folks.
We’ve been super busy trying to get the house in order, get back into a routine with school and work, and spend as much time with the kids. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was promoted at work. I applied for another position in the company just a few weeks after starting the new job and I am fortunate someone actually thought I would be a good choice…hope I don’t do anything that will make them regret their decision 😛 I am now the Associate Administrator (fancy way to say manager) of Operations and Strategy for Centura Health Physician Group. I know this will bring it’s own set of challenges, but I am excited about the opportunity.
Ty is busy with all the cadets, but he seems to really enjoy his new position.
Our au pair has decided to extend her contract for another year and we are grateful we found a good match and don’t have to start the process all over again for a little while.
The kids are enjoying their new school and especially like the fact they don’t have to wear uniforms. AJ is full of energy and such a great big brother to Lauren. Speaking of Lauren, baby girl is about to turn one soon! Where did the year go?! She is walking and chatting up a storm.
There’s still a lot to do, but the house is coming along and we’re gearing up for the birthday and holiday season.
I’ll keep you posted!
