We took advantage of the kids’ long spring break and took a family trip to San Francisco. We had a great time! Lots of walking, sightseeing, and of course eating. Love that city!
Really early morning flight out of DIA. The kids were not amused.
We flew Virgin Airlines. They had the best customer service (not like the other companies that look at you crossed eyed when you check-in as large family with car seats, pack and plays, strollers, etc.)
Day 1
First stop, Fisherman’s Warf
These damn birds kept trying to take our food
Playing around at Ripley’s
Day 2
Lunch at the Ferry Building Market
Exploritorium. This place was so cool and we stayed for over 4 hours
Chocolates at Ghirardelli Square
Driving over the Golden Gate Bridge
Driving

Day 3
China Town
Dragon’s Breath (cereal pieces mixed with liquid nitrogen)
Baker’s Beach. Love that we are all bundled up on the beach. It was chilly.
Day 4
Hanging out with Michael at the California Academy of Science in the Golden Gate Park
AJ loved walking/dancing with his Tito
Lombard Street (we actually drove down it)
Day 5
Muir Woods. This place was magical.
Day 6
Flight back home
So glad that we are able to share these experiences and make memories with each other. Traveling isn’t easy, but so worth it in the end. Back to work and school.
