Another six months have passed since I’ve blogged and it’s taken me all day to sort through and upload pictures for this update. As time consuming as this is, I’m constantly reminded about how important it is to capture and document these moments. These are the moments we’ll think back on in the future, things that have shaped us into who we are, and moments to make this life worthwhile. Lots of heavy things happened these past several months that make you think about your place in this world. Not sure any one will truly know what the meaning of life is, but all we can do is find joy in the little things and do what you can to make lasting memories and leave your imprint on people’s hearts. Oh what a life. Here’s a small glimpse in what the memories we’ve made…
Girls’ Trip
Spent a few days at the beginning of the year with these beautiful ladies near Winter Park, CO. We spent hours reminiscing about college, talking about family and making plans for our future. We joked that this was our form of therapy.

Mommy Daddy Off-site
Anthony and I wanted to dedicate time and space for focused financial and goal planning for our family. Think corporate strategic off-site. In February, we spent a couple days in Denver, away from the kids to really dig into our hopes and dreams for our family and start developing tactical plans to get there. We still have some work to do, but glad we took the time to invest in us.

Evergreen A-Frame
We continued down our real estate investment journey and purchased the cute a-frame cabin in Evergreen, CO. When deciding on our next property, we really wanted a place that we could also enjoy together as a family. We looked for several months, put in many offers, and were repeatedly outbid by offers $50K+ over asking! When this one popped up on my searches, I knew it was perfect. Funny thing is I have a pictures of a-frame cabins on my vision board, so it felt like it was meant to be and it was!

Easter
Chill Easter egg hunt at the Cercenia’s community center

Jojo’s Junior Prom
Can you believe this beauty is our child?! Man, does time fly. She was so proud of this dress, she found it thrifting for $15! I think she looks like a million bucks.

Anthony’s Birthday Party
Of course we have pictures of the food and not the birthday boy. Ha!

Mother’s Day

Girls’ Night Out – Colorado Springs
Always so much fun with these mama’s!

Las Vegas
Met up with these incredible women to celebrate Liza’s 40th birthday. What a memorable trip. I’m exhausted thinking about everything we squeezed into 3 days.

Last Day of School
Look at this happy bunch ready for the last day of school, me included. I’m ready for a little break from drop off and pick up at 3 different schools!

19 Year Anniversary
Anthony and I celebrated our 19th anniversary with a trip to San Diego, CA. What can I say, we had a great time eating, eating, and then eating again. Love these foodie adventures with you, Love.

Cog Railway, Manitou Springs
Took the newly renovated Cog Railway from Manitou Springs, CO all the way to the top of Pikes Peak. We all felt the impact of the altitude change (starting at 6,320 ft. and ending at 14,115 ft.), but thankfully planned ahead and packed bottles of oxygen!

Annual Family Pictures & Hanging in Denver
Had our family pictures taken and decided to go out to brunch and walk around Denver after. Loved our coordinating outfits and wish we could appear this put together all the time! All you mommies out there know how hectic it is preparing for family pictures, but it’s all worth it.

Mom’s 20th
Hard to believe that it’s been 20 years since my mom has passed. Love you forever and miss you always.

Father’s Day
Met up with some friends and took the kids fishing for the first time. They had a blast and AJ was the only one to catch a fish!

Until We Meet Again
Our Lola passed away this weekend. She left an incredible legacy and loved so deeply. I’m going to miss her sniff kisses, incredible cooking and hearing her say ‘I love you, apo.’ She took care of everyone for 89 years and now it’s her time to rest. Love you, Lola

“I really wish I had spent more time appreciating it while it was all happening, instead of worrying about when it would end.”
