Here goes my bi-annual update. Ha! So tough to keep up with the blog posts, but I’m glad I’ve done an OK job capturing “all the things” throughout the year…thanks iPhone camera! Maybe to make this a little easier on myself, I try to upload at least quarterly.

After reflecting on the second half of 2022, I realized we did so much! Lots of travel, spending time with friends and family, and, of course, eating (the theme of just about all the updates you’ll see below).

So what do you did when it’s unbearably hot outside, you eat udon of course! Definitely not the worst idea I’ve ever had…haha

Disneyland in the middle of a heat wave (highs hit 107 degrees) was brutal! To combat the heat, we arrived at the park as soon as they opened, stayed until lunch, went back to the AirBnB to cool off in the pool, then went back to Disney when the sun set.

Cabin Life

Haven’t been able to make much progress on the interior renovations at the cabin, so we’ve been chipping away (literally) at the 1 acre of land around the property. Lots of old dead trees that haven’t been cleared out in years. Lots of manual work, but the kids love it!
